The bible says in 1 Peter 1: 23; "For you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. This implies that as followers of Christ, we have been made imperishable through the living word of God. What this means is that, when we serve the living God wholeheartedly, he gives us the power to withstand, every trial and set back that comes our way. And after everything is over, we will still be standing.

My dear brothers and sisters in the Lord, we have no reason to fear. The devil will always try, but even at the point of death, God will come to our rescue. Let us carry ourselves with confidence in our worship to God, knowing that no matter what the devil brings our way, our God will save us. The bible says in Hebrew 13: 5 - 6; "............ Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?" Our God has promised us that he will never leave his children. And one thing is His promises for us are Yes and Amen in his name as the bible says in 2 Corinthians 1:20. What this means is that, whatever word God has promised us in the bible, if we believe and stand on it, He will always bring it to pass in our lives. I know you may be reading this and a lot of circumstances that you have been through might have caused you to shrink back to the point of almost giving up. As a result, you may be thinking, you are not supposed to be saved. But our God is still the miracle working God; he is the God that rose Lazarus from death, he is the same God that walked upon the sea, he is the same God who healed the sick. If we look at the old testament, he is the same God who protected David from all his enemies and led him to conquer strong armies, he is the same God that led the Israelite to the promise land and caused them to overcome every obstacle that came their way. And you know something, the bible says, "He is the same yesterday, today and forever; He never changes."

The scriptures say in Jeremiah 32: 27; "I am the Lord, the God of all mankind; is there anything too hard for me." Nothing is impossible for our God. God can do anything, all we need to do is to believe. Fellow believers in the Lord, let us try and see ourselves as victors and conquerors, because that's who God has made us to be. Even though situations may not always seem like it, but when we believe and act on our faith, He has promised he will always bring us out of every difficulty victoriously.

It is my prayer that we meditate on His word day and night so as to help us see ourselves as who God sees us to be. In Jesus' name, AMEN!

The storms of life will come our way, but with God on our side, we have no reason to fear!
